Dani Weder joins the ACR team
ACR Switzerland is excited to announce Dani Weder’s appointment to the Board of Directors of ACR Switzerland. ACR Switzerland, a full subsidiary of the successful Swedish Air Navigation Service Provider ACR AB, provides tailormade Air Navigation services and related support services for regional airports.
Today, ACR operates 17 regional airports with a reported high customer satisfaction, an excellent safety record, increased cost- efficiency and full price transparency. Dani Weder: “These airports are ACR’s best ambassadors and serve as a validation of the innovative service provision model that can yield large benefits to the regional segment in Europa, globally, but also in Switzerland”. Dani Weder’s appointment to the Board of Directors assures a continuation of the started ACR expansion strategy into new markets and business areas and highlights the role of ACR Switzerland as the expansion platform for the wider European market.

In addition, Dani Weder has been appointed as a member of the Performance Review Commission (PRC) effective August 1. The PRC provides objective information and independent advice to EUROCONTROL’s governing bodies on European Air Traffic Management performance.
The other mandates of Dani Weder’s business portfolio will continue.
Daniel «Dani» Weder works as independent board member and adviser. For the last four years he was a member of the European Commission’s Performance Review Body (PRB). 2007-2017 he has been in charge as CEO of Skyguide a private limited company responsible for Swiss Air Navigation services. Before joining Skyguide, he worked for the airlines Swissair and SWISS. He was a.o. VP Strategic Marketing, VP Product Development, EVP Airport Services & Operations Control as well as EVP Marketing & Services and in that function member of SWISS’s Executive Board.
